Group I LA officers with policy and administrative tasks (including providing advice and services in areas such as politics, economics, accounting, science and technology, energy, IT, development, press and information, translation and interpreting).
Group II LA assistants with policy and administrative tasks (including providing complex work in various areas including those foreseen for Group I, but having lesser levels of responsibilities than in Group I).
Group III LA staff providing mainly administrative and accounting tasks.
Group IV LA staff providing office support (including duties such as secretarial, book-keeping, reception).
Group V Skilled manual posts (including driving services).
Group VI Other manual posts.’
