Result! PMO extends MyCommuting claim deadline

Following representation from Generation 2004, PMO has extended the transition period allowing colleagues more time to submit reimbursement requests in MyCommuting.

When MyCommuting [1] replaced Mobility.net in November 2024, colleagues had to submit re-imbursement request within 1 year of their season ticket purchase date, now PMO have said within 1 year of the expiry date.

Generation 2004 was approached by colleagues who had reimbursements refused, in many cases the cost of a season ticket exceeds 1000€.

Generation 2004 wrote to Mr Christian Levasseur, PMO Head of Service, on behalf of the impacted colleagues.

As a transitional measure, the PMO is allowing colleagues who purchased an eligible public transport ticket [2] between 1 November 2024 and 31 October 2025 more time to submit their reimbursement request.

Generation 2004 Chair, Marcela Válková, says, “Thank you Mr Levasseur, common sense has prevailed. As a principle, we believe that if the cost was incurred it should be reimbursed, in line with the Commission policy to support employees’ commuting costs.”
