On 15 June, Generation 2004 hosted a breakfast meeting for its members and colleagues interested in learning more about the organisation and its activities. The event provided an opportunity to exchange views, strengthen professional networks, and discuss key issues currently affecting staff in the European institutions.
Discussions focused on Appeals, Competitions, and the Large Scale Review, as well as the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the workplace. Participants explored both the opportunities AI can offer and the challenges it may present for staff across the EU civil service.
The meeting brought together long-standing members and colleagues considering joining Generation 2004. The strong turnout and active engagement highlighted the continued importance of an independent and representative staff voice within the European institutions.
Generation 2004 would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions to the discussions. Through dialogue, cooperation, and advocacy, the organisation remains committed to supporting staff and strengthening the community across the EU civil service.
