Original article: Get ready for an exciting launch of Generation 2004 lunchtime conferences, featuring inspiring guest speakers on diverse topics!Are you a woman navigating the challenges of parenthood alone ? Are you a woman victim of post-separation violence? To kick off the series, we focus on women who are lone parents and on women exposed to violenceand so we have invited representatives from ‘Des Mères Veilleuses [2]‘ association.
This is the only association in Brussels focusing on solo mothers’ issues. They provide emotional and legal support as well as socio-cultural events designed to strengthen connections within their community of solo mothers with kids.
Gentlemen, while on this occasion the speakers will focus on women in specific situations, your support matters too! Regardless of your circumstances come join the conference. We have not yet found a local lone fathers’ group (but here is one online [3]), if you know of one please get in touch, we’d like to invite them to talk too.
Let’s stand together in solidarity and empowerment for lone mothers and their children.
