The deadline for applications to the  certification ^[4] process  of this year is Monday 29th  September at 23:59 (Brussels time).  For the Commission there will be a maximum of 50 AST 5 (step 2 and higher) colleagues who will have the chance to be selected to potentially join the AD function group after intensive training and examinations. Generation 2004 is happy to invite you to a free conference aimed at helping candidates prepare ^[4] for the certification process. We will briefly explain the application phase and what follows thereafter ^[7], including the interviews with your DG and/or the Certification joint committee Panel, as well as the training and examinations.

We will be happy to answer your questions on practical aspects of the procedure and share past experiences. There will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session ^[8].
