Many of you contacted us over the past weeks and months to highlight a number of important issues specifically related to DG Translation (DGT) [1]. If you want to discuss them more in-depth and share with us your concerns and ideas so that we can act on them, join our special DGT meeting, Thursday 25.03.2021 at 2 pm.
Here is a list of topics we will cover:
- Workload and recuperation; stand-by duty [2]
- Staff cuts, temporary agents selection
- Outsourcing
- Building policy for DGT [3]
Feel free to contact us if you would like to raise other issues: depending on the time available, they could be treated in this meeting or in a follow-up meeting.

[1] We presented the issues related to e-translation at the Central Staff Committee plenary 24.6.2021 and we are currently drafting a note to be sent on behalf of the Central Staff Committee asking for the issues to be addressed.
[2] The Central Staff Committee queried the extent of and the legal basis for the use of standby 18.12.2019 [4]. (Update 25.3.3021 we are querying response/follow-up to this note.)
[3] The latest on buildings is here [5].
