Career Days 2024 organised by DG HR will take place from 3 to 28 June. You can attend some activities in person and others online.  The programme is focused on career development and learning opportunities through a versatile offer of events available for all staff. Such an initiative looks good at first glance.  But is it too good to be true?

Are those Career Days genuinely designed to help staff grow and advance in their personal development and careers, or are they merely a strategy to give employees the illusion that the Institution truly cares about their career paths and their well-being?

NB: The events are open to all Commission staff in Brussels, Luxembourg, other sites, EU Delegations and Executive agencies. For staff working at the JRC and in Luxembourg, there is a selection of site-specific sessions, both in person and online.
