Have you experience a traumatic event and found yourself having to return to work before you were quite 100%? Have you had difficulties in completing a project and to meet the deadline? When we talk about resilience, we’re talking about the ability to cope with the ups and downs of life and bounce back from challenges. In a workplace setting, this can be about the ability to manage anything from a tough workload to frustrating colleagues, or even to changing the working environment.
Let’s meet with our executive coach and psychotherapist on Monday, 24 October for a lunch-time talk on resilience and on addressing the difficulties that we face, especially during these particularly challenging times. We propose to have a heart-to-heart talk to identify your own coping mechanisms and discover the best-adjusted methods for each and every one in order to face the current problems at work.
Resilience enables us to take a positive approach in life and at work, helping to maintain motivation and do better at problem-solving. It’s a skill that switches on when a person faces different challenges, no matter whether it is about your boss, colleagues, spouse or friends. Relsilience also enables us to take a proactive approach to daily life whether that is in the personal or professional sphere.
Resilience is associated with greater job satisfaction, work happiness, organisational commitment and employee engagement and we aim to talk about how using different resilience tools can contribute to:
- improved self-esteem,
- a sense of control over life events,
- a sense of purpose in life
- improved interpersonal relationships.

See you there!
