Lunchtime conference with guest speakers: My Safety – Understanding and Addressing Urban Violence in Brussels

*update 28.06.2024, the Recording and presentation are available (NB: in *.Zip format). Brussels,  the heart of Europe, is a vibrant city but like many cities (big and small), it faces challenges related to urban violence. Recently, incidents of violence in Brussels have become a growing concern affecting the safety and well-being of our staff and our citizens

and the local authorities are continuously working to address these challenges.  In response to the rising concerns of our staff, Generation 2004 is happy to host the second edition of our “Lunchtime conferences with guest speakers”.

This event is for anyone interested in safety in urban areas, not just Brussels. We have invited representatives from the Brussels police department to provide our colleagues with valuable insights into the current state of violence in the city and offer practical advice on how they can protect themselves.  Through this initiative, we hope to contribute to building a safer and more secure environment for everyone, regardless of where they work.

The conference will take place on Thursday 27 June 2024 from 12.15 to 13.45 via WebEx.
