Generation 2004 is organising a coaching laboratory on burnout prevention and well-being, in collaboration with a colleague with experience in this field.
- Do you work in a complex environment and have to deal with difficult situations?
- You want to make the difference between the professional and private sphere and you do not know how to do it?
- Your health is the priority… and you do not know how to protect it?
EU staff works in a fast changing environment where the pressure of work can lead to emotional exhaustion, physical fatigue and cognitive weariness. If the below situations ring a bell then this laboratory is for you.
- Overcoming challenges associated with new software, changing atmospheres or different processes
- Unrealistic deadlines
- Frequent scheduling conflicts or interruptions
- Unpredictable schedules
- Added responsibility beyond the initial scope of one’s role while not being compensated for that increase
- Stress in priorities management
- Paradigm repetitions
Making a small change in your behaviour can change everything in your life.
What’s this all about?
We offer you the possibility to get help through professional group coaching and personalised follow-up. The objective is to provide you with tools that will help you manage complex situations and to preserve your physical and emotional health.
Our approach is systemic. It consists of considering the individual as part of different systems (family, professional, social, etc.) Every person is influenced both by his or her intentions, those of others, and those of the possibilities of the environment and/or system. We will pay attention to the mechanisms of balance and change in the systems that make the person feel good. A small change in your system can transform your life.
How does it work?
Coaching, being a practical experience, will help you to progress in your profession, in your life and to understand conflicts at all levels as well as the essential principles and skills underlying the demand for value creation in a personal, organisational and systemic context, especially to protect your health and respect your well-being.
Who is this lab for?
Given its effectiveness, this systemic approach is increasingly being used to study – and transform – complex situations, sudden changes, conflicts and organisational challenges. It is therefore designed for anyone that is looking into:
- Strengthening managerial flow, roles and responsibilities and find a better alignment within a team,
- Findings ways to deal with situations where they are stuck or in conflicts that they do not know how to react to,
- Understanding how to protect your health,
- Seeing reality and being objective.
- Learning how to ask powerful questions.
Practical details of the coaching laboratory:
|Content||You will be able to explore the deep nature of your values and beliefs and learn how to manage your emotions and release your energies. You will learn how to create new opportunities and influence change at both organisational and personal levels. Through simple exercises (e.g. briefing, visualisation, etc.) You will acquire a thorough understanding of the problems faced, and will be able to find an adequate solution to overcome them.|
The laboratory is free of charge but at the request of Daniela we would like to ask that you make a donation for a charity organisation. Daniela choose the Burkina Faso based NGO Maïa (in FR), as the organisation she would like to help.
Generation 2004 will collect the donations, and if participant donations are less than 300,00€ in total we will top it up this amount. After the exploratory sessions, we will send instructions on how to donate to those that register to the laboratory. We will also report on the final amount of donations gathered.
|Delivery||WebEx video conference. The sessions are password protected, please send us an email to get it and we will send you the instructions on how you could donate to Maïa.|
|Participants||Since this is the first time the course is offered and is delivered over a digital platform, we are setting no limit to the number of participants. We will reconsider if the number proves to be too large.|
|Calendar and time of sessions||Two (2) independent Exploratory sessions on 13 and 15 October between 12:30 and 13:30. These sessions are equal and are open to anyone. They aim at explaining what this coaching laboratory is about and help you decide if it is something for you.
The training itself is composed of Seven (7) Coaching Laboratory sessions on 28 October, 18 November, 2 and 16 December, 13 and 27 January and 10 February between 10:00 and 12:00.
Please find here a ZIP file containing Outlook appointments for all the session.
