Happy New Year!
We wish all colleagues a happy, healthy and successful New Year. As we start the year ahead, we present an edition of our newsletter that focuses on engagement, representation and concrete support for our colleagues.
In this edition, you will find practical support, with access to the recording and presentation of our Conference on the 2026 appraisal exercise and the possibility to register for individual appraisal guidance. Two additional study group sessions in English and Spanish for reasoning, MCQ and written tests for the AD5 Generalists/Graduates competition are also available thanks to our collaboration with Yasemos Europeos.
We also turn our attention a call for candidates for the upcoming Local Staff Committee elections in Petten, following our strong results in Luxembourg. Your engagement is key to ensuring colleagues’ voices continue to be heard.
Finally, we raise awareness of an increasingly common issue: the reliance on personal mobile phones for work, and its impact on sustainability, fairness and working conditions. We invite colleagues to reflect on this trend and share their experiences with us.
As always, Generation 2004 remains committed to defending staff interests and working together to shape a fairer and more sustainable future.
