First of all, Generation 2004 wishes you a great year in 2025 and will continue to fight to make your voices heard. Welcome to the first edition of the Newsletter for 2025. In this edition, we cover various topics that affect your daily life and career.  We start by exploring the blurred lines between personal and professional life, particularly when it comes to mobile phones (check the recording of our online conference). We discuss how the burden of cost-saving measures is increasingly being shifted onto staff.  Moreover, navigating the complexities of work-life balance is crucial, as highlighted in our coverage of the JSIS. Speaking of career advancement, we provide tips on how to increase your chances of getting a promotion or reclassification in 2025.  For those of you keen to plan the year ahead, check the article on flexibility days 2025.  Meanwhile, significant changes are underway in European Schools. Welcome to the eleventh edition of  Generation 2004 newsletter for 2024. In this edition, we are covering a range of topics, including updates on other locations such as the Canteen in Ispra,  the Healthcare system in Italy and the lack of transparency of the promotion system in  EEAS.  We invite you to share your experiences with the JSIS special reimbursement .   We are happy to provide you with the recording and slides of our free training on AD7 EPSO competition in partnership with Yasemos Europeos .  We raise again the issue of low temperature in the office.  As always, we keep on fighting for a fairer future for our ASTs colleagues and share with you the highlights of the ECA Report. Additionally, we have news on the Annual Salary Update 2024 in Brussels and in ISPRA and on the concrete action launched to help the people of Valencia. Finally, we inform you on the ‘voluntary’ availability During End-of-Year Break, the ‘End of Service’ IT access, the upcoming Changes to the Mission Guide and the next steps for Promotion/Reclassification.

Welcome to the tenth edition of  Generation 2004 newsletter for 2024. This edition highlights several key updates, beginning with a heartfelt thank you to our supporters in the recent Generation 2004 elections in Geel. We also address pressing concerns about the challenging issues surrounding ASTSC career blockages. Furthermore, we explore the certification process. In addition we focus on unpaid leave and the pursuit of longer and sustainable careers for Contract Agents and we discuss whether to sign or not the petition from the contract agent “collective”.
